Our Viking Smoked Salt is derived from a millennia old Danish recipe, and is still produced to this day in the same fashion, by drawing water from the Baltic or North Seas and evaporating it on an open fire of a collection of different native woods. It delivers an incredibly deep and complex smokiness to any application. Only a few grains are often needed, it elicits the flavors of a campfire when lent to a seafood dish or a Bloody Mary.
