All the rich, savory curry flavor—just without quite as much fire. This is the same flavorful recipe as our hot curry powder, but with less cayenne, making it a little friendlier for the whole table.

Curry powder is not one specific spice or recipe. It is a blend of aromatic spices, and there are thousands of variations found around the world. This balanced version is warm, earthy, and versatile, with just enough heat to keep things interesting.

Use it to season chicken, shrimp, pork, vegetables, lentils, rice, soups, or sauces. For deeper flavor, warm the curry powder in a little oil or butter before adding the rest of your ingredients.

Ingredients: Turmeric, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Black Pepper, Ginger, Mustard, Fennel, Allspice, Cayenne
