White Pepper — Ground
A little sprinkle with plenty of punch! Ground white pepper brings warm, earthy flavor and a peppery bite to your cooking. Its fine texture blends easily into sauces, soups, and seasonings.
Uses
Stir into creamy soups, white sauces, mashed potatoes, and gravies. Add to eggs, seafood, fried rice, and marinades. Start with a small amount and adjust to taste.
From the Colonel
White pepper comes from ripe pepper berries with their outer skins removed. It’s often used in light-colored dishes where the cook wants the pepper to blend right in. Don’t stop at savory dishes—white pepper can also bring a surprising touch to cookies, cakes, and fruit.
