Poppy Seeds
Tiny seeds, plenty of crunch! These bluish-gray poppy seeds bring a mild, nutty flavor and a delicate crunch to sweet and savory dishes.
Uses
Sprinkle over breads, bagels, and rolls, or stir into muffins, cakes, and cookies. Add to salad dressings, buttered noodles, or vegetable dishes. Gently toast in a dry skillet over low heat, stirring until fragrant, to bring out their nutty flavor.
From the Colonel
It would take approximately one million of these tiny seeds to equal a pound. Poppy seeds have a naturally nutty flavor and crunchy texture, and a little toasting brings out even more flavor.
