The Colonel put his own spin on a classic Creole-style seasoning, and the result is one seriously useful little concoction. It has savory herbs, plenty of garlic, and just enough cayenne to bring a little heat without taking over the whole meal.

Use it on chicken, shrimp, fish, pork, vegetables, potatoes, eggs, or just about anything that needs a good kick of flavor. It is especially good in soups, stews, gumbo, and jambalaya—or kept close to the stove for everyday seasoning.

Ingredients: Sea Salt, Paprika, Garlic, Black Pepper, Onion, Cayenne, Oregano, Thyme

Creole Shrimp

Toss 1 pound of shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of seasoning. Sauté over medium-high heat for 3–5 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and fully cooked.

Creole Roasted Potatoes

Toss 1½ pounds of chopped potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of seasoning. Roast at 425°F for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
