Suzanne’s Tex-Cin Chili Powder
Why pick a side when you can have Texas and Cincinnati in the same bowl? Suzanne’s Tex-Cin Chili Powder was created in honor of a native Texan transplanted to Cincinnati, bringing together the bold, savory heat of Lone Star chili with the warm spices that make Queen City chili unmistakable.
Use it anywhere you want a deep, rich chili flavor—ground beef, turkey, beans, chili mac, burgers, taco meat, or even a pot of Cincinnati-style spaghetti chili. The cocoa, cinnamon, clove, and allspice give it warmth and depth, while ancho chili and cayenne keep things lively.
Ingredients: Ancho Chili, Cumin, Sea Salt, Garlic, Oregano, Allspice, Cayenne, Cocoa Powder, Bay Leaf, Clove, Worcestershire, Cinnamon.
Quick Tex-Cin Chili
Brown 1 lb ground beef, then add 2–3 Tbsp Suzanne’s Tex-Cin Chili Powder, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can beans, and ½ cup water. Simmer for 20–25 minutes and let Texas and Cincinnati argue it out in the pot.
Tex-Cin Chili Dogs
Brown 1 lb ground beef with 2 Tbsp seasoning and ¾ cup tomato sauce. Simmer until thick, then spoon over hot dogs and top with shredded cheddar and diced onion.
Texas swagger. Cincinnati spice. Everybody wins.
