Description
The story goes that when tea was still being brought out of India on the backs of camels, each night the camels would be fed, watered, and put to bed with the same side of the camel always facing the fire. The large sacks of tea were not always taken off the camels back. So, after a long journey to market, the merchants discovered that the tea had picked up a smoky flavor from the exposure to the campfire. At first they thought that the tea had been ruined. Then one brave soul tried it and a whole new tea flavor had been born. This is one of my favorite teas. I have been drinking it for over 30 years. On a cold night, light a fire, brew a pot of this tea, and enjoy.
The price is per ounce.
