Poultry seasoning is an old standard, especially in Southern cooking. My Great Grandmother used to apply poultry seasoning quite liberally to any fowl she was preparing. While there are several different ingredients that may be used for poultry seasoning, ours contains: parsley, rosemary, celery seed, sage, savory, marjoram, black pepper, onion granules. This should probably be a staple in your cupboard.
